The work in Atlanta has been postponed for a week so I started a new project today. I brought Sharon's favorite chair back to the boat from Indiana. We have been wanting to change the layout of the main saloon ever since we bought IQ, but weren't sure how to do it. After a lot of thought we decided on the layout in the pictures below. We now have two very comfortable places to sit. The way the built in furniture was arranged wasted a lot of space and was not comfortable. This will work a lot better for us. I got a lot done today, but have a long ways to go to finish it. The flooring did not go under the existing built in furniture, so I have to redo the flooring (which I wanted to do anyway). The cushions need to be cut down to fit the new arrangement as well. It has all worked out very well, comfortable and the boat feels more roomy inside. Plus mamas happy, so now everybody will be happy.
