What a great day!

We anchored in Sunset Cove last night. This morning the wind shifted to the northeast, so we moved to the north end of Buttonwood Sound to be more out of the wind. Our frinds Richard and Lisa joined us. We had a great day rafted up togather. Grilled steaks and a beautiful sunset after a nice 75 degree day in February. Does it get any better than that?

Sharon enjoying her Kindle and the sunshine.

Another beautiful island sunset.

Richard and Lisa's boat rafted up next to us.

Well Scott, you see I am not like you and John who don't mind spending $60 for one meal. I can buy two steaks and have enough left over from that $60 to pay for diesel for two weekend cruises.

Oh my dear brother one 1 1/2 inch thick New York strip is around $14 and will feed two!! Season them and pour some dry red wine on them and leave them in the fridge overnight. The next day sear them then turn the grill down and slow cook them. Then two baked potatoes and some broccoli should not raise the cost of the meal over $20!!
Those 1/4 inch steaks you buy, you might as well have some bacon.

If you can buy a steak big enough for two people for $14 you don't live in the Keys. You must live in the frozen tundra up north where the water gets real hard for a few months every year. Yuk, I will keep my thin steaks and warm clear water.
