These are the screens I made for Morgan. I think they are going to work out pretty well. The chain that I sewed into the hem is stainless steel so it's not going to rust. My though for making them like this is that they will be easy to roll up and stow away while underway. Storage on a 25 foot boat is at a premium. The screen is also very tight knit screen designed to keep out no seeums. I hope it works.

looks great. Did you stitch it by hand? If not what type of machine did you use or suggest....Allan
Hi Allan, I used fishing line for thread and sewed them by hand with the largest needle my wife had. I got the No seeum screen and the SS chain at Lowes. I think I am going to be very happy with them. Being tight knit screen, they do cut down on the air flow. But you can't have everything.
To heck with the screens. I'd just hire a fly/mosquito swatter in a bikini if Sue would let me.
Well Don, there are lots of mosquetos down here, so it might take 3 or 4 bikini clad females to protect someone properly.
that's just wrong....
Rachel, why is it wrong? Do you think it would take more than 3 or 4? Five or six maybe, you can't be too careful these days, mosquetos are dangerous you know.
